Playground Tales
Playground Tales is a podcast for kids made by students in Grades 4, 5 and 6 at Winters Flat Primary School in Castlemaine, Victoria (created by radio producer & presenter, Anne Marie Middlemast). The podcast, entirely narrated by the children, is upbeat, fun and playful with lots of colourful sounds of kids playing, talking and depicting general school life.
The artwork needed to visually represent the stories, voices, and interests of the children and appeal to them as a key audience. The solution was to develop a colourful illustration comprised of dynamic "scratch-art" style doodles.
